  • The courses are taught exclusively in French. To be able to follow them, you must have at least a B1 level in French, which means:

    • Understanding the main points of a discussion when clear and standard language is used, and if it concerns familiar topics such as work, school, leisure, etc.
    • Being autonomous in most situations encountered when traveling to a region where the target language is spoken
    • Being able to produce simple and coherent speech on familiar subjects and areas of personal interest
    • Knowing how to recount an event, an experience, or a dream, describe a hope or goal, and briefly explain reasons or provide explanations for a project or an idea

If you do not have this level, you may be accompanied by someone close to you who can provide translation during the course. In this case, we kindly ask you to inform us before the course so that we can organize accordingly.

  • The second-phase training must last 7 hours (minimum, excluding breaks) and is delivered over a single day. Our courses start either at 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM and end at 4:45 PM or 5:45 PM, respectively.

The exact dates and times will be provided when you register on our website.

  • Only categories A and B are subject to the second-phase driving license training. However, the training only needs to be completed once; it will then also apply to the other category.

If your probationary license includes an expiration date at position **4b**, you are required to complete the second-phase training. On the other hand, if you only see stars (***) at this position, it means you hold a permanent driving license.

In any case, if you have doubts about this, only the cantonal vehicle office in your canton of residence can provide a definitive answer.

  • No. Payment is made using the QR invoice that you receive as an attachment to the registration confirmation email. The payment deadline is 7 days from the date of registration.

  • When you pay for your course using the QR invoice attached to the confirmation email, there may be a delay of a few days between the time your account is debited and the time we receive the payment. During this period, your spot is still reserved.

  • Yes. The type of transmission of the vehicle you use for your course day does not matter.

The restriction code for automatic transmissions is no longer in effect, so this will have no impact on the issuance of your permanent license.

  • If you don’t have a vehicle to complete your second-phase training, you can either borrow one from someone close to you or rent one from us. You can add the rental option during your online registration.

  • The rental cost of a vehicle is CHF 60.00 per day, including tax. The vehicle will be provided directly at the course location, ready for use. The rental amount is per person.

  • Yes, subject to the rental terms and conditions of the agency you choose.

  • If you come with a friend, you have the option to share your vehicle with them.

This rule also applies if you rent a vehicle from us, but in all cases, the rental fee will be charged per person. The allocation of participants in vehicles rented from AGEC remains at our discretion.

  • If your payment was made less than 3 days before the course, it may be worth presenting the payment receipt during your course.

In any case, if your registration is valid, you will be allowed to attend the course even if the payment has not yet been received. However, no attendance certificate will be issued until the course fees have been fully paid.

  • If your probationary license is about to expire, you can request authorization from the cantonal vehicle office in your canton of residence to complete your second-phase training after the expiration of your probationary license.

To do so, you must first register for the training so that we can provide the vehicle office with the date of your enrollment. Starting the day after your registration, you can proceed to request the issuance of your authorization.

Please note that the authorization will only allow you to drive on the chosen course date. Additionally, a fee will be charged for issuing the document.

  • Reservations are made directly through our website. Upon completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with the QR invoice for your course payment attached.

You also have the option to register by phone. In this case, a registration fee of CHF 20.00 will be charged.

  • All our courses take place on our P49 track in collaboration with Palexpo in Grand-Saconnex/Geneva.

The location is ideally accessible for anyone living between Geneva and Lausanne.

The exact address will be provided at the time of registration, and you will also receive all the details in your confirmation email. You can also access this information at any time from your customer account.

  • For your courses, you will need to bring:

    • Your valid driving license or an original valid driving authorization (issued by the cantonal vehicle office for individuals completing their training after their probationary license has expired).
    • A vehicle that corresponds to your license category and is in good working condition.
    • The vehicle registration document (logbook).

If you are taking the course on a motorcycle or scooter, we recommend that you wear proper gear, including full equipment specifically designed for motorcycle or scooter riding.

  • For your course, you must bring a vehicle that matches the category of your license and the course you have registered for.

    • If you are taking the course in a car, you can bring any vehicle (automatic or manual transmission) that belongs to category B.
    • If you are taking the course on a motorcycle or scooter, your vehicle must belong to category A, meaning it must exceed 125 cm³ and 11 kW. If your license is limited to category A with 35 kW, this restriction also applies.

In all cases, your vehicle must be in good working condition and meet all necessary safety requirements for the course. Additionally, it must be registered in Switzerland.

Failure to meet any of these conditions may result in being denied access to the course.

  • For second-phase motorcycle courses, the meal is included in the course price for logistical reasons. However, for car courses, participants are free to choose how they want to handle their meals.

To facilitate this, a break room with a refrigerator and microwave is available to participants, and several restaurants are within walking distance of our track.
