2nd phase process ?
Obtaining your provisional license
As soon as you obtain your provisional license, your 3-year probation period begins. This is explicitly indicated at number 4b on the front of your license.
Within the year following the issuance of your provisional license
Attend your second-phase course by signing up for one of our car or motorcycle sessions.
In the month before your provisional license expires
Submit your application for the issuance of the permanent driving license to the cantonal office in your canton of residence, and receive it a few days later by postal mail.
Obtaining the permanent driving license
Obtaining your permanent driving license marks the end of your process, but be aware that even if you receive your permanent license before your provisional license expires, it will only take effect after the provisional license’s expiration!
